Apartamentos Miraflores

We stayed at Casa Miraflores, right in the historic center, with bars, restaurants and sights just a few minutes away on foot. That includes the Picasso Museum, Alcazaba, and Cathedral. Even with such a central spot, it felt peaceful and comfortable, a lovely place to unwind. Everyone was kind and helpful, gave us good recommendations, and replied quickly whenever we had questions. My partner and I had a fantastic stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Malaga :)

I couldn’t sleep with the noise coming from the restaurant below the room. It went on until early morning, so I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you want to rest at night. The room itself was large and clean, though.

The worst part was the noise. We were on the 2nd floor, with two big terrace glass doors facing a narrow street, and restaurants just below. There was shouting, banging, and noise until 3 in the morning, so forget getting any sleep unless you’re here to party or stay out late. Maybe rooms facing away from the street are different, but the street-facing ones are horrible. We paid 210.00 E for 2 nights, which I assume is a lot for this town. The room was big, but there were no suitcase chairs, so you had to use the furniture or floor. The small bathroom felt cheap, with no shelves for your things and no bidet. We’ve gotten used to that here in Spain.

This hotel looks quite nice, but I just tried to book a room and found there’s a MINIMUM of 2 NIGHTS, even in November. Really? For a medium-range hotel in the middle of town, that doesn’t make sense for people visiting before or after going to the airport.
