Apartamento Miramar

The rooftop terrace was a highlight, with lovely drinks and beautiful sea views. The rooms were roomy, stylish and comfortable, with complimentary coffee and water, and the breakfast buffet had a varied, excellent selection. We also enjoyed the lunch restaurant by the pool. From the moment you walk through the small park to the impressive entrance, you get a warm welcome from the friendly staff throughout the hotel. This was our second stay, and we'll definitely return.

The rooftop was amazing, and the hotel itself is gorgeous, with very kind staff. A couple of things kept this at four stars for me. The rooms looked lovely but were quite small, and our upgraded rooms didn't have balconies, which was disappointing. At breakfast, the orange juice wasn't freshly squeezed, a small thing perhaps, but surprising at this kind of hotel. The croissants weren't very good, and nobody came to clear our plates. Worst of all were the figs: the first two were delicious, but the next ones were rotten and I could smell it. It seemed clear that some of the food wasn't being checked for quality. That left a literal sour taste in my mouth. Still, it was a pleasant stay, and I'd recommend this beautiful hotel.

We felt spoiled throughout our lovely seven-night stay in this beautiful hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the buffet breakfast had lots of very nice choices. Cafes and restaurants with plenty of options are only a short walk away. Before arrival, I emailed a couple of requests and got quick, helpful replies. We look forward to coming back.

What stood out most was how well the whole team looked after us. Housekeeping, the pool attendants, concierge and waiters were all exceptional, and the hotel was spotless. We’ve stayed at plenty of good hotels around the world, but this was easily the best for service and cleanliness. Breakfast had lots of fresh choices, and the location was great too. We’ll be back!
