I’m warning people as sincerely and kindly as I can: avoid these apartments by a wide margin. A suitcase was stolen right in front of our eyes at the reception of Soho Boutique Museo, and we couldn’t do anything. I never thought something like that happened outside a film, but it happened during what was meant to be a special, long-planned tour of Andalucia with my grandparents, probably their last. The stress of this stay was something we later tried to forget. The apartments are in the old town centre, but when we arrived the entrance was locked, nobody was there, and there were no instructions. After wandering for twenty minutes, we noticed a barely visible phone number beside the intercom and called. We learned that check-in was at another place, a fifteen-minute walk away. It might not sound far, but after a long journey, the walk with suitcases was very hard for my grandparents. At that reception, we each had our own suitcase. My exhausted grandparents sat in the lobby armchairs while I spoke with the receptionist, keeping my suitcase beside me at the desk. She typed at the computer for a while, then called us over to sign contracts or something. In the commotion as we got up and went to the table, my suitcase disappeared. We searched the whole lobby and even the sidewalk outside, but couldn’t find it. We then saw a sign saying reception wasn’t under video surveillance and they weren’t responsible for missing items, or words very much like that. After a long discussion, the receptionist said she hadn’t seen anything and couldn’t help. We didn’t even get an apology. In the end we gave up, bought a couple of pairs of underwear and some T-shirts, and continued the trip. It was a horrible, stressful experience. If negative scores were possible, Soho Boutique Museo would deserve one. Avoid this place.

The windows looked out onto walls, and the floors were dirty. Overall, the flat didn’t seem clean. The furniture was very worn and in poor shape, and it clearly needs a major renovation. It was only fairly equipped, and we weren’t even offered a bottle of water. We also had to pick up the key at reception, which was a 15-minute walk from the flat. Very disappointing, and I strongly wouldn’t recommend it.

We booked two nights with our children and had one of the worst stays we’ve ever experienced. The apartment was tiny, dirty, and uncomfortable. The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional. She ignored our calls despite hearing us, refused to check us in, and told us to “call the police” for no reason. We couldn’t reach anyone responsible for the place, so no one helped us. We eventually canceled and left. We were treated disrespectfully, and the behavior also felt racist, which made things even worse. This hotel shouldn’t be listed on Google or any booking platform.

For the high price, I expected better. The room was freezing, bare, sad, and tiny, with a broken radiator. I had to beg for a technician. When someone finally came, they couldn’t fully fix it, so the room stayed cold, which was especially upsetting with my toddler there. Staff wouldn’t move us to another room after I raised the problems. There was a strong cooked-meat smell throughout the room, as if the previous guest had cooked and it hadn’t been properly cleaned. The bathroom stank of toilet odors. The reviews aren’t trustworthy, and neither are the photos, which are completely fake. This place is expensive and awful. Take your money elsewhere!
