The place is very central, but I would never recommend it. 2C was dirty and smelled of drains. The water heater broke and flooded the bathroom, so we had to move to another unit on the 3rd floor, which was a little better. The elevator broke on the first day, so we had to walk up and down three floors each time and carry our suitcases down the stairs when leaving.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We were in Apartment Merced 2b, and it was in awful shape when we arrived. The bathroom was dirty, there was no toilet paper, a basic necessity that was supposed to be provided, and the shower smelled like sewage. The sheets and mattresses had stains and hair on them. The worst part, though, was how the owner treated us after we brought up these problems.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE'VE EVER HAD. Our apartment, 2B, was dirty. There was hair on the sheets, brown marks on the towels, no toilet paper at all, and a sewer smell from the shower. The owner manages the whole building. When we told her what was wrong, she suggested we leave and said we'd get a refund. We paid for the whole stay and have NEVER received that money back.

There was no toilet paper or other basic supplies, and the bathroom was dirty with a sewage smell coming from the shower. The sheets and mattresses were stained and covered with hair. We tried to work things out with the owner, but got nowhere. We had arrived at apartment Merced 2b to find it in terrible condition.
