I ended up here because the other hostel I'd booked in Málaga, Bed&Bikes, was overbooked. Thanks to Juan for putting me here. The location is right in the heart of Málaga, and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. The link they give you to open the doors is handy, so you don't have to carry keys. There's a big kitchen for cooking, but the utensils are old and some aren't usable. My other issue was the bunk bed. I slept on the top, and it was SOOO NOOISYYY that I hesitated to move. The shower doors are a little hard to slide but still work. For a budget stay of one or two days, it's okay.

The bathroom was filthy and the water wouldn’t drain, and the Wi-Fi in our room barely worked. The rooms were in really bad shape, with heavy dust and everything looking extremely old. It seems like someone once tried to give the place a theme, but it hasn’t been looked after. We also got no information in advance about check-in. When we arrived, nobody was there to let us in, so we had to call someone and fill out a form. Luckily, we still had some internet, but what if we hadn’t? The person we messaged wasn’t very nice either. It felt like nobody cared about the hostel, though they still wanted to make money from it.

For two weeks I had a cosy little loft tucked away at the top, with its own entrance straight onto the terrace. I loved waking up in the morning to sunlight. Such beautiful, blessed days.

I spent three weeks here during an Erasmus+ trip. The owner was really nice, and I liked both the food and the room service. A really good hostel!

The room had pests, and the air conditioning didn’t work. They kept my deposit, with no refund. I arrived at night and the cleaners checked the room.
