Catalonia Malaga

The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, and our clean room was comfortable with a beautiful sea view. There’s a park nearby, and getting to the airport was easy, with a 12-minute bus ride and 15-minute walk. Breakfast was excellent, with an incredible selection and amazing freshly squeezed orange juice. We really enjoyed staying at Hotel Catalonia and would happily return to Malaga and stay again.

We were there over New Year, so we couldn’t enjoy the beach this time, though it’s a great location by the water. The rooms are spacious, large, and clean, and staff are helpful and responsive. Room service is available. Breakfast was average, not bad but nothing special. The ladies at the bar and restaurant were outstanding, though. They went out of their way to make my wife's Camarillo the way she likes it. My only downside is that downtown is a 10-15 minute drive away.

The service was excellent, and the rooms were modern and well kept. The entrance atrium gives the hotel a spacious, open feel, and it’s very well appointed. You’re 100 m from the broad beach that stretches west, with a nice variety of bars along it. The old town center is 4km away. Highly recommended.

It’s right by the beach, though a little far from the city center. The hotel was very nice and clean, the breakfast buffet was great, and the service couldn’t have been better. I appreciated the small touches too, like the organic brands used for soap, shampoo, and several food items.
