The location is perfect, the hotel was clean, the decor subtle and pretty, and the amenities excellent. I enjoyed my stay and would come back, though a few things made it less comfortable than it could have been. The middle of the night fire alarm took staff a long time to resolve, and nobody followed up with an explanation of what happened or what guests should do if it happened again. With so little communication, people were moving up and down the stairwells. Staff also seemed uneven: some were very nice, others cold. At checkout, despite being a member, all I got was “you have a room charge,” with no thanks or goodbye. One more thing, there’s no bathroom fan. I stayed in winter/spring and can’t imagine showering there in summer without one. Even a small fan would help.

The hotel is tidy and newly renovated, and its location is handy for the beach, metro, shops, and places to eat. We stayed four nights, but on the second, the fire alarm woke us at 5am. My husband and I went straight downstairs. One worker was rushing between phone calls while the alarm continued, then called across the lobby that everything was fine and he knew what had triggered it. Nobody else offered directions, answered questions, or apologized. It was a terrible way to handle an alarm, especially at a hotel calling itself “luxury.” It rang for 30-40 minutes. I felt for older guests and people with small babies trying to manage the stairs. There was no apology, partial refund, free breakfast, or other remedy afterward. For a boutique hotel making luxury claims, that’s a major failure. If something goes wrong during your stay, don’t expect the staff to handle the crisis gracefully or courteously.

Carolina at reception was lovely and helpful when we arrived for my birthday stay last night. Our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and had a modern bathroom and a really comfortable bed. The two complimentary glasses of cava were a lovely touch. We also enjoyed the breakfast, with its good range of food. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The hotel is easy to get around from on foot, thanks to its central location. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast had good quality and variety. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with a large walk-in shower, and the decor throughout felt tasteful, modern, and stylish. The air conditioning worked well. The pedestrian zone outside gets noisy at night, so keeping the windows shut is best.
