10/10
The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, and the decor feels fresh and tasteful. We had a good, mostly continental breakfast, with scrambled eggs and chorizo sausage as options. The dining room is pleasant, though there’s no hotel bar for getting coffee or drinks in the foyer. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent lighting and lots of power sockets and USB points, better equipped than some four-star hotels. The bathroom and shower were very well appointed. We didn’t have tea or coffee facilities in the room, but, as usual, had brought our travel kettle. The one minor drawback was being at the back, facing a central courtyard, so there wasn’t much of a view. That didn’t matter much if you weren’t spending a lot of time in the room. It’s a really nice hotel, recently refurbished to a good standard, and about a ten-minute stroll from the historic centre.

The room was accessible, and check-in was straightforward. It’s around a 10-15 minute walk to the old town plaza and about 20 minutes to the nearest beach. Malaga itself was clean, quiet, and beautiful, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. I had a wonderful stay and would happily come back.

The location was great, and the rooms felt modern and clean, with comfortable beds. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. They even let us store a bike box until we came back.

The train station is just opposite, about a three-minute walk, and there’s a train running all day from the airport, roughly 30 minutes away, up and down the coast. It cost €3 and tap-and-pay worked in 2025. The hotel is handy for getting around everywhere. Rooms are a bit small for two, but the toilets are grand and breakfast was good. A handy Spanish hotel in Malaga town, near everything.

It’s in a convenient spot, and my room was clean. Carolina, who was on the late front desk shift, was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has the basics covered, nothing fancy.
