Feel Hostels City Center

Returning the key card without its docket didn't get my €2 deposit back. When I asked about it, the woman at reception told me to just keep the card, haha. As soon as I turned around, she started swearing at me. You have to pay the deposit and they give you a docket, but apparently losing that slip means you lose the money even if you return the card.

Bring your own lock. Apart from that, this was one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The place is noticeably clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is really pleasant to use. The location feels great too, you step outside and immediately feel good.

The staff's treatment was the worst part by far. We were made to leave when we were just 10 minutes late, and our things were thrown onto the street in front of other guests and passersby. The two women working, especially Alba, were cold and disrespectful. The way Alba spoke to us felt openly racist and contemptuous. It didn't seem like a misunderstanding; we felt targeted because of who we are, and publicly humiliated on purpose. I've never felt that level of shame. It was cruel and aggressive. The room itself was cramped, dirty, and smelly, with stained sheets and no towels, but that was nothing compared with how the staff made us feel. My colleague and I work in hospitality, and I've never seen tourists treated with such hostility anywhere in the world. I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone. If you care about your dignity, don't go here.

The desk staff member was incredibly rude. She turned something that should have been simple into a difficult situation, and the way she acted was disrespectful and disgusting.
