There was plenty to like here: the apartment is in a nice location, you get the whole place to yourself, and it has the facilities to cook or bake. The staff were fairly responsive, and after we mentioned the cockroaches, they did a bit of cleaning and sprayed for pests, after which they stopped appearing. They also cleaned the curtains when we pointed out the mold. Still, the shower drain was blocked, so I had to turn it off about every minute to avoid flooding the bathroom. We told staff on day two, but nothing was done about it. The curtains had mold, and the very old mattress had a huge dip that made my allergies flare up. The apartment could use better hygiene, especially with the mold and cockroaches. These things seem fixable, and taking better care of the place would make a much more pleasant stay.

You can cook for yourself here, and the place has everything needed for a stay. It’s very good accommodation, close to markets, with Malagueta beach about 1.5km away.

Andrej was there to check us in late in the evening, which was nice. The apartment was clean and spacious, close to the harbour and next to the old center. A good place to stay.

Quiet and right in the center, with amenities close by. I’d stay here again.
