Málaga Eliseos Hotel

Hotel Eliseos was clean and fairly quiet, and we enjoyed our stay there. The location was excellent, parking worked out really well, and the service and night staff were kind. The hotel could use some updating, as its best days seem to be well behind it, but it’s still a good place to stay.

We left after just one night because the room made for a disappointing stay. It was cold, the bed wasn’t very comfortable, and almost no sound was blocked, so we could hear everything outside. The service itself was fine. If nothing else is available, it could do for a short stop, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a regular or longer visit. This was Hotel Eliseo’s near the Colosseum in Málaga.

The old hotel was impressively clean, thanks to the housekeeping team, and the location was good. Miss Eliana at reception was very friendly. But our early flight meant we needed a 3 a.m. wake-up call. Mr. ANTINIO promised he’d call, and we stressed how important it was, but he didn’t leave a note for his colleague when his shift ended. Nobody called us. It was a very disappointing way to finish, so I gave the service only two stars. Mr. ANTONIO didn’t make sure the job was done.

The staff were very polite, but I’d say skip this place and spend another 40 minutes driving. The rooms are small and dated, the beds small and uncomfortable, and all I got was a sample of shampoo and body wash. Parking at the hotel costs 15 euro. Don’t expect much, 2 out of 5.
