The rooms were spacious and the staff were super nice. Breakfast offered plenty of choices, and the location was perfect. We had a very good four-night stay, though the rooms could use better insulation. Traffic noise from outside was really disturbing.

We picked this hotel for its location and would stay again if we return to Malaga. It’s an easy walk to the beach, Pompidou Centre, Cathedral and town, with lots of good bars and restaurants. The three rooms we had were a little dated, but clean and comfortable, and we had no complaints. The beds were very comfortable. It got cold at times, so we used the air con to heat the rooms. My daughter had an accessible room with plenty of space and a large wet room; the other two rooms had showers over baths and bidets. It was nice to have all three rooms on the same floor. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. One morning the internal door window suddenly popped out as we closed it, and maintenance came quickly to fix it. Reception also had an iron we could borrow for the room. We used the jacuzzi and sauna twice. The area is small, so I’m not sure that would be possible in busier months. Breakfast worked for us. There was soya and lactose-free milk, so I could have cereal and granola despite my dairy intolerance. I’m allergic to egg, and there were three egg options I couldn’t eat, but I still found enough for our three nights. I might get bored with it over a longer stay, though there’s a great cafe and bakery across the road. A special mention to the breakfast manager, Joaquin? Sorry if I’ve got the name wrong. He was always welcoming and courteous, and noticed all the little details that made breakfast a pleasant start to the day. He and the rest of the staff worked hard and discreetly. We were there for three nights before New Year. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and reception staff were helpful. I appreciated being placed together on one floor.

The location made it easy to get around. There are bars and restaurants close by, the famous port, beach and bull ring are less than a two-minute walk away, and the city centre is at most a five-to-ten-minute stroll. The 12th floor has the gym and spa, plus an outdoor sun area with amazing views. From our large balcony we could see the street, some of the sea, the castle and the city rooftops. We spent three nights here. The room was spacious and clean, with a large king bed, a small fridge, air con and a colour TV. The Spanish channels were the one downside. The bed had the best pillows, and we slept really well. The bathroom had a shower and whirlpool bath. Staff were very nice, and the whole place was well laid out. We didn’t eat at the restaurant, but what I read about it sounded top class. Great stay, and I’d highly recommend it. Thank you Hotel MS.

The location was a real plus, with about a five-minute walk to the beach and around ten minutes to the city centre. It was easy to explore Málaga and still have a peaceful stay. The restaurant was fantastic too, with great food in a relaxed setting. We were there for just under a week for a special occasion, and Hotel MS Maestranza made it memorable. They upgraded us to one of their best rooms and arranged a treat for us, which was such a thoughtful surprise. The hotel was spotless, with lovely décor and a warm, elegant feel. Our spacious room was clean and had a balcony with a stunning view. There’s a gym and spa on the top floor as well. The staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive every day. Everyone we met made us feel looked after. We had an unforgettable stay and would absolutely come back to Málaga.
