Paseo de Sancha

We found the prawn pilpil and calamari we were after here. The servings were large, tasty, and reasonably priced, and the staff were really friendly. It's only a short walk outside town. The paella looked good, so we're planning to come back tonight and try it.

Ricardo looked after us brilliantly. He was funny and lovely, and seemed to know what customers were looking for. We gave both the service and food five stars. We shared paella and sangria between two, with more than enough for food and drinks. The paella was super fresh and a big portion, and the sangria was fruity and aromatic in a way I hadn't experienced before. I noticed local groups eating here too, which made it feel like the right place for typical local food and drinks. Highly recommend!

We felt at home from the welcome through the service. The food was made with love, really satisfying, and served in generous portions. If you're looking for genuine local cooking, this is the place.

Don't let the outside put you off. I followed the reviews and it turned out to be a great choice: the food was awesome. Best paella I've ever had, though the portion is enough for three people or two very hungry ones. The sangria was also great and came in a generous serving. Our waiter was nice and listened when we asked not to sit near the door, even splitting up a reserved table for us. We got a complimentary shot at the end. Keep in mind it's cash only. I'd happily come back!
