The location is excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the towel is free. The 10-bed dorm was good enough, but cleanliness might be an issue if you care about that. The bathroom bin was overflowing, crumbs stayed on the floor for days, and it didn't seem to get cleaned more than every few days, if that. The bathroom often smelled of sewage too, so there may be pipe issues. The mattress was probably the worst hostel mattress I've ever slept on. Just so-so, but workable.

Really nice staff and a great location, and they do give you a towel. But the hostel is super basic. If I'm remembering right, there's no proper kitchen for cooking, just a microwave. There's one window for the whole dorm, so even though the room is somewhat spacious, it still feels crowded. Sharing one bathroom among 10 people is a bit of a struggle. At night it gets so noisy because the hostel is right on a street with bars, and you hear everything.

We went back two years ago and had an amazing time at this hostel/cafe/hotel in the heart of this beautiful, fantastic city. It was clean, and the cheesecakes, breakfast, coffee, and service were all good. The staff were friendly, too. The bar next door was a piece of art. It was a little loud, but we handled that easily and enjoyed the bar. Every night we bought different beers to soak up Malaga's great atmosphere. We also ordered 20 inch burritos from Glovo each night and ate them in bed while drinking our beers. I don't know why people criticize the place, it's a hostel, not a 5 STAR COMPLEX! We'll definitely visit again. Peace out ✌🏼✌🏼

I had a great experience. They let me leave my bags before check-in, so I went to Plaza Mayor for a few hours. The rooms were nice, and the people working there were lovely. There were water pipes right over my bed that made noise, which I could have done without, but I had earplugs with me ✌️ The cafeteria was so nice, too! I took some pictures of the cafe downstairs and Laura, who worked here 🌸🌸

I booked with 'Pay at the Property' and 'Free Cancellation', but the hotel charged my card 458€ without authorization and now refuses to refund me. I have proof the booking could be cancelled for free. This is a clear violation of consumer rights and a total FRAUD. Avoid this place at all costs. They're stealing money straight from your bank account!
