Solaga Veletta

We had a fabulous time in Malaga, especially taking a siesta on the terrace in the afternoon. The view over the cathedral and the whole town is stunning, and it’s the best terrace ever. Inside, the apartment is spacious, very clean, and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable, with lovely bedding.

The central location made getting around Málaga easy. Restaurants, bars, shops, and cultural spots are all close by, yet it was quiet enough inside to sleep well. We also appreciated the thoughtful help arranging a taxi to the airport on our last day. My friend and I stayed for a few days and felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The apartment was tastefully decorated, spotless, and had everything we needed. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom, which was really convenient, and the air conditioning worked perfectly in the summer heat. Everything worked well, and it felt like a comfortable home during our holiday. We’d love to come back.

The location gives you at least some sense of living there, since it’s just far enough from the main tourist area to avoid being swamped by visitors. We picked up fish at the local Mercado de Salamanca, fruit and vegetables at Fruteria Los Amigos, and most other things at Maskom Supermercados. The Museo del Vidrio y Cristal de Málaga is right next door, and it’s one of the most amazing glass museums you could visit. The flat is nice, but the huge deck is the real draw. Parroquia San Felipe Neri’s bell towers are right across the street, and despite a couple of rainy days we still got to enjoy the sun and look across the city to distant mountains. It’s quiet, the beds are great, and my wife appreciated having a bathtub. Solaga Holidays communicated well and helped us with timing. We’re satisfied and hope to visit again soon.

We used this as a home for a month, as a couple with weekend visitors. The smaller bedroom could feel a bit tight for two over a longer stay, but both bathrooms were very good, as was the kitchen. The layout is good, and the apartment is nicely located and functionally furnished. There’s lots of light in the living room, with a view of Plaza de Camas and even the mountains.
