Rene made our stay in Málaga especially easy. He gave us helpful tips and was flexible about check in and check out, and the apartment itself was spotless, well insulated and in excellent condition after its recent refurbishment. We spent 4 days at The Clock House in the Ocean suite. The location worked really well for exploring on foot. The terrace was a highlight, with cathedral views, a jacuzzi, sofa and dining table. We loved sitting there and hearing the city around us. The apartment had good sized rooms, and the pedestrian square below, with its cafes and children playground, stayed quiet at night.

The Clock House felt like a mix of a posh Airbnb and a Four Seasons type hotel. I stayed for a long weekend plus 2 days of work, and the WiFi coverage and Nespresso machine made working easy. Rene was kind and helpful, met me at the taxi stand, sent useful tips, and even arranged anything I needed to be dropped at my door, including a sturdy umbrella. I was in the lovely Baroque Suite on a middle floor. It was furnished beautifully, and since it was only 1 year old, everything was new and worked. The air conditioning was very quiet and could be adjusted for each room. The location was excellent, with Central Market visible from the lounge windows and the Roman Theatre and main museums 10-12minutes away on foot. If noise bothers you, bring earplugs. The public square outside sometimes gets a street cleaning machine and binoculars removalists. I can’t wait to stay again.

We came across The Clock House and had a great stay. Rene was superb, and the apartment was even better. It’s right in the old town, close to the Mercado Central de Atarazanas, and was very clean, with great beds and bedding and everything well appointed.
