BYPILLOW Villa Lorena

We were looked after by Adriana throughout our stay. She was friendly and polite, and helpful with our questions at reception. Breakfast was lovely, in a calm and pleasant setting. The hotel is in a quiet residential area with great sunbeds, an outdoor area and a pool. It takes 10-15 minutes to reach the sea, restaurants and shops. You can rent bikes through the hotel. There's a self-serve bar at very reasonable prices. The hotel was clean, well maintained and to a high standard, with an aesthetically pleasing look throughout. We couldn't fault it and would happily return. I'd highly recommend it for a romantic stay for two.

Villa Lorena is a beautiful villa in a quiet suburb, about a 20 minute walk from Malaga centre. The staff were very nice, and Sanae and Naomi were super efficient. Breakfast was simple, freshly cooked and nice. We had a very pleasant stay and I'd stay here again.

After busy days sightseeing, it was lovely to come back to this charming boutique hotel. I spent four nights here in a quiet, leafy residential area, with the historical centre of Malaga a short walk or bus ride away. There are several routes to choose from. My room had tasteful decor, a very comfortable bed and a large balcony that was a nice place to relax. I also appreciated having the heating on the cooler evenings. Breakfast was delicious and good value. Naomi was helpful when I checked out.

We had a great stay and only wish we'd had more time to make the most of the villa. Naomí and Adriana were lovely and helpful. Since we had to leave very early and breakfast doesn't start until 8:30, they arranged packed breakfast for us. It's very close to the beach and a great base for that. The bus stop is about a 10 minute walk away, followed by another 10-15 minute ride to the tourist area and centre. That's fine unless, like us, you've booked day trips leaving very early from the central station.
