Hotel Reymar

The rooms were clean, but there was only one plug socket, above the bed, and no kettle. You can rent one, but then you have to boil it while holding it above the bed since there’s no extension lead, or use it in the bathroom 🤢. We asked for a fork for noodles we’d bought at a shop, and it felt like asking for the crown jewels. I thought they were going to charge us for the privilege 😀. Great location, but the TV only shows the hotel’s activity stream, which needs updating. There are no fridges in the rooms, though you can get one in the staff room for an extra charge.

The pool area was lovely, and there was good daytime entertainment for the kids. The rooms were on the small side but worked perfectly well as a base. We stayed for 3 nights in August and, despite being a bit unsure after reading reviews, found the staff very friendly. We’ve already booked again for next year, this time for longer.

The gentleman who works behind the bar was lovely and offered us somewhere to stay, though we didn’t catch his name. Some of the staff were rude, and the hotel was stupidly pricey for a place that only sells pizza 🥱🥱. We stayed for 5 nights. On the 4th night, our passports and €200 were stolen. The hotel refused to let us see the CCTV, and when we asked them to call the police, they refused. As soon as they realized we’d called the police ourselves, our passports were slid under the door. When we went downstairs, the receptionist immediately asked if we’d found them, knowing full well she was the one who stole them!!! After a big cost, we finally got home. Never visiting again!!!!!

I can only speak about the food, and it was absolutely vile. The rice was hard, the salad had gone off, and only some of the meat was all right. There wasn’t much choice. I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. The chefs should be ashamed, I could do a better job myself.
