Sandra, our contact during the stay, was kind, efficient, and always ready to answer questions or comments. The complex is in a great spot for excursions around the area. Apartment number 1 was cozy and comfortable, with good equipment, though it could feel a little short on direct sunlight. Highly recommended.

There’s no parking at the property, so you need to find a place elsewhere in town. Apart from that, the apartments were great for the three of us, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. Pets are allowed, and my dog loved being around there. The pool is small, but big enough for a nice swim.

The house itself was fine, but dealing with the contact person was a terrible experience. A group of workers had stayed there, and an unforeseen problem meant we had to leave four days earlier than agreed. We had already paid for those days. The person in charge tried to negotiate a partial discount for the unused nights, on the condition that the owner could sublet them. We were told that wasn’t possible, so we kept the extra four days, though the house sat empty. The workers had taken the house key with them, intending to come back for their equipment. On the second day, two of them unexpectedly arrived wanting to spend the night because they hadn’t had time to collect all the materials and machinery they’d left in the area. They couldn’t get in because other people were already inside. They called the owner, who said the people there were cleaning, although it was actually another family of tenants. We demanded a refund for those days. Instead, the owner sent us an invoice by certified mail, involving a lawyer, for an amount even higher than what we’d agreed to pay. We’ll be filing the appropriate complaints.

The daily dip in the pool after a day of sightseeing was priceless. We stayed three nights in loft no. 2, which had absolutely everything we needed and is easy to recommend. It’s well placed for Plasencia, Hervás, Monfragüe National Park, and La Vera. Don’t hesitate to choose this place, it’ll exceed your expectations. Avelino was very attentive. We’ll definitely be back.
