The room was decent, though we’d booked a double and got two single beds pushed together. The shower was great, but the toilet didn’t offer much privacy. There were lots of ants by the sliding door, though I know that can be hard to control. We had a great stay for a good price. Service was excellent, and both the pool bar and food were really good. The pool looks out over the Cala, and the semi-private beach is just a two-minute walk away.

We left after 4 nights of a planned 7-night stay. The price was the biggest disappointment: almost £2k for a week felt like too much for what seemed to us like a 3-star hotel. If it’s priced fairly and you know it’s basic, you might be happy here. For a place to relax all day and enjoy the food and surroundings, I wouldn’t recommend it. The hotel looked better online than in person, and our room was run down. The bath panel was loose because it hadn’t been fitted properly, and there was scale on the tap. The old air conditioning was inconsistent and made noise when it reached temperature and switched off. The gym was barely there: two broken bikes, no treadmill, and one set of old adjustable dumbbells. We had dinner included, but after seeing breakfast we went out to eat every night. After our first night, we told the staff we wanted to leave. They said the booking was non-refundable, which was fair enough, but nobody asked why or called a manager. They offered another room, but didn’t really listen to our feedback. In the end, the food and amenities let us down more than the room itself.

The hotel itself was excellent, but restaurant noise spoiled all four nights for me. A loud, terrible third-rate band played until after 11 PM, and I never expected it to continue on the last night. I told reception, but nothing changed for over 40 minutes. If the noise issue were fixed, this could be a perfect stay.

The clear water at the beautiful beach is easy to reach on foot from the hotel. The pool area has an amazing view and a really relaxing feel, too. The staff were kind, and Marga deserves a special thanks for arranging a restaurant reservation. Highly recommend!
