The location is the best part, and breakfast at the buffet restaurant was very nice with a good selection. But the room had a strong stale smoke smell that never went away, even with the balcony door open all the time. There’s current bridge work next to the hotel, which isn’t the hotel’s fault, but expect noise around the pool and bar. Pool bar service was slow with only one staff member working. I waited so long that several times I left for another bar along the front when the bar was unattended. The wristbands to prove breakfast board were annoying and tacky, not even all-inclusive. I had to remove mine, then for 6 mornings breakfast was interrupted by the same lady asking for my room number and other proof, which I found embarrassing.

The hotel is right on the promenade and beach, so the location was great. When we arrived with the children, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast and dinner, and the food was really nice. No complaints.

The sea view is appealing, but don’t be taken in by the grand entrance. The rooms are outdated and full of bed bugs. I was bitten several times, and the lift kept going up and down all night, which will definitely disturb your sleep. We were put on the 7th floor, where they place families with small children, and the balcony handrail felt very wobbly and insecure.

We asked for a top-floor room and they kindly gave us one at the back of the hotel. The balcony looked out across the countryside towards distant mountains, a stunning view. Our room was a decent size, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with a decent shower. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, with freshly cooked eggs and bacon plus a good range of hot and cold choices. We were there on a bed and breakfast basis. It’s a budget hotel that exceeded expectations, with excellent value for money. The location was perfect too, just a 10-minute walk to Sa Coma, with plenty of charming little restaurants nearby. The one small downside was the pool schedule, only open from 10am to 5pm, which might not suit everyone, especially in peak season. We only used the pool on our last day, so it didn’t matter much to us. We’d happily return. Highly recommended!
