Sa Plana Nova

The setting, architecture, and pool were beautiful, and our room had a nicely designed open layout and a small terrace. But the bathroom had no ceiling or door, so there was no privacy. It may have looked stylish, but it wasn’t practical. There was a strong odor from the start. We hoped it would fade, but it got worse and smelled like sewage. The host agreed it was coming from the drain and poured chlorine into the bath drain. That helped only for a little while. The next day the smell was stronger. The host was often away, so we messaged on WhatsApp. He said he couldn’t do anything then, and later told us to talk to the cleaning lady. For what we paid, that response was disappointing and unacceptable. Offering another room, or a partial refund if none were available, would have been more appropriate. The feces odor might even be harmful to your health. Nobody wants to spend a holiday in a room that reeks of sewage.

The house and area were so quiet and idyllic, and we loved driving to the hidden beaches nearby. You can get around quickly from there. Luis welcomed my partner and me warmly, and sent us lots of useful advice and information before we left home. Our spacious room had a kitchen, a private terrace, and views of the pool and sea. We liked the furnishings, slept really well, and enjoyed how large the pool was, bigger than it looked in the photos. It was a wonderful stay at Luis’s villa. I’d highly recommend his finca and we’ll definitely come back. Thank you!

The apartment at Sa Plana Nova was clean and had everything we needed. The family were lovely and always ready to help. It’s a charming finca with views over the surrounding land all the way to the ocean. I hope I get to come back one day.

We had a lovely time grilling in the evening and really enjoyed our apartment’s direct access to the pool. Luis and his mother were so kind and welcoming. It’s a beautiful, relaxing finca. Thank you!
