I'd go back for another meal. There were five generous, delicious courses, and the paella and mussels were standouts.

Could've been cleaner, to be honest.

Gaudí's first major work, which is well worth seeing, is on a nearby street. The apartment is also handy for daily needs: there's a Día supermarket right by the entrance, a Caprabo a little further down, and the central market nearby with restaurants and other essential services. It's very close to the train station, though the building itself is older and has a small elevator. In winter, the gas-fired radiator system keeps the apartment comfortably warm.

Right outside are a pharmacy, bakery, and two supermarkets. The apartment is central, close to Mataro's center, the beach, and both the train and bus stations.

Everything was really good, and the price was fair too. I did go in the low season ☺👍
