The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, with a fresh, stylish feel. Breakfast was a highlight too, with a good choice of hot and cold food for the quality and price. From arrival, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, and were always glad to offer recommendations or help with anything we needed. New Hotel Colon is well placed near the beach, shops, and train station, so getting around Mataró or travelling to Barcelona was easy. A very pleasant stay in a welcoming hotel with great service. I’d definitely come back.

We had a really comfortable bed, and the staff were friendly and great. The hotel has a nice, cozy look, and the location is great. Our room felt a little cramped, possibly because it was at the end of the hallway in a corner. The bathroom lighting could be better, and parking was hard to find.

A lovely little hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. It’s just 150 meters from the sea, and there’s an in-house restaurant.

The room was a decent size and clean, with a quiet AC that kept it cool. There was also a balcony with a table and chairs. Staff were friendly, and there were always plenty around in the lobby if you needed anything. The main issue was noise through the walls. You could hear people in the neighboring rooms pretty clearly, even when they weren’t shouting or being particularly loud. Better soundproofing would help. It’s a great hotel otherwise, but hard to sleep if your neighbors stay up late.

Everything I needed for a business trip: great staff, accommodation, bar, restaurant, location, and price range. The simple things were right too, with a comfortable bed, good water pressure, and a fridge in the room. Friendly staff and a real team effort to provide outstanding service. Good job, guys!
