That weekend at A Casa de Lucha was so good I found myself applauding in the bathroom after getting home. The rooms were bright and roomy, and outside there’s a big garden with a pool, jacuzzi and barbecue area. 10/10.

Carmen was so warm and attentive, and the pool and jacuzzi were fantastic. We had a wonderful weekend there.

We chose the house as our base for the Camino de Santiago (O Camiño de Oriexe), since it’s close to the Vilanova maritime station.

Carmen, the owner, is really friendly, and the house is peaceful at night. It’s roomy and well equipped for a group, with a small pool that’s just right for a refreshing dip. Very nice place, highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back when we’re in the Rías Baixas again. The house was spotless, thoughtfully supplied, and well placed for visiting the area. We were traveling with a toddler, and Carmen had a crib, highchair, games and even a little bouncy castle ready for her. There’s also a huge patio and indoor parking. Carmen was friendly and attentive, and left us a bottle of Albariño wine as a lovely little gift. Thanks for everything!
