I liked that the hotel is right on the Camino, and the town itself was very nice. Still, I’d recommend staying in town instead. I only expected a warm shower and a comfortable bed after a long, cold hike, but the shower was unexpectedly cold. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, with some underripe bananas. We adjusted the heat, but it didn’t warm up until we were asleep; we’d turned it back down before bed, and it fluctuated overnight. I didn’t sleep well.

The host is an amazing woman. The room was clean and nice, with towels and shower gel provided, lots of sun loungers, and a lovely pool. When my friend and I couldn’t get any of eight baggage transporters to help recover my lost power bank, she went out of her way to arrange delivery to Santiago de Compostella and didn’t even ask for money. She also has a drinks list you can order from, so you don’t need to go to the shops for refreshments when you arrive. I’d definitely recommend the place and come back. If you read this, thanks again for all your help! ♥️

After a long walk, we were glad to spend the night here. It was modern and spotless, and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the garden. Bars and plenty of restaurants serving pulpo are just a short walk away, and we tried some, of course. I’d recommend it as a Camino stopover.
