Jose was a great host and made sure we were comfortable at Albergue Melide. The curtains give you good privacy, and blankets are provided. I loved relaxing and chatting with other pilgrims in the garden. I highly recommend a stop here! L

The owners are kind, polite, attentive, and really care about making your stay enjoyable. The hostel is clean and has a lovely atmosphere, especially with music playing. At night, the garden feels relaxing with its lights and candles. It’s right across from the Camino de Santiago route, with plenty of good restaurants nearby for a meal after walking. If you’re too tired to head into town, they also have a street food truck with burgers, pizzas, cold beer, ice cream, and lots more. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in, and the best in Melide.

The owner and staff were cheerful, friendly, and helpful, and the big outdoor area is surrounded by nature. The beds were comfortable, with curtains that gave me privacy. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at, especially for the price.

It was just okay. The place was too hot, the location wasn’t good, and there weren’t enough bathrooms. It needs air vents, air conditioning, and some shade in the yard. The coffee was good, but breakfast was all sweets. The receptionist came across as posh for no reason.

What a lovely, spotless find. After a day on the Camino, it was great to just crash with a beer and pizza. Our hosts were so friendly, and there’s a nice little outdoor area and good coffee. It has everything you need in an albergue.
