I don't get why some people rated this hotel badly. It's a great place, very clean, with everything you need in the bathroom. It's right in the city center and within walking distance of the fortress. The staff are great, and the receptionist speaks English very well. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The staff were friendly and happy to hold our luggage for the day before our late-night ferry. The hotel itself is very basic. The rooms are old but clean, with just one chair and an under-counter fridge. There's no balcony furniture, coffee or tea setup, glasses, bottle opener, or anything like that. The en suite is patchy and old, with a shower over the bath. The towels were extremely old, hard and threadbare.

For me, this is more of a three-star hotel than a four-star one. It's in central Melilla, but the room was very noisy from the traffic, and the facilities are limited: no gym, pool, bar after breakfast, outdoor seating areas, or parking.

The hotel was lovely, clean and fairly priced. Shame the staff were a little obnoxious and quite rude. Otherwise, I'd have given it four stars.

The room felt like a prison, and the front desk service was horrible. Even the TV looked like the one in prison documentaries 😂
