For a London tourist, the three-star rating didn’t make sense until I saw the basic extras. The pool is small and there’s no breakfast, so the facilities are quite simple. But I stayed in a studio that was perfect for two adults, with modern, clean, comfortable rooms and simple furnishings. The balcony had absolutely beautiful views over the bay and sea. The price was very reasonable, especially for mid-August, and we booked at the last minute. It was a very affordable holiday apartment.

The paella had an unbelievable amount of seafood, and it was the best I’ve ever had. The food is homemade, especially the paella and tapas, with that grandma’s cooking feel. It’s like visiting a local friend, with friendly staff, quick service, and a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. There are very few tables. Try a glass of special Pedro Ximenez for dessert.

The self-contained studio was ideal for a couple, with a terrace and sea views. It’s close to good beaches and restaurants, and I’d recommend hiring a car to get the most out of Menorca. We had an amazing stay.

The apartment was completely new inside, and the location was excellent, right in front of the rocks and sea with outstanding views. Eligenda, the owner, was very kind to us. I’d stay there again if I go to Menorca soon.
