The house was in great shape and had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly, sharing great suggestions for walks, beaches, and beach bars. I stayed at El Portón this summer with my family and some friends, and we had an exceptional time. We’ll definitely be back!
The hosts were really friendly, and the house had everything we needed. It was comfortable and clean, a lovely place to spend a few quiet days surrounded by nature and unwind.
The heating didn’t work, the barbecue was filthy, and the owner didn’t even welcome us. Cleanliness fell well below the required standard, so our stay at this rural guesthouse was terrible. I absolutely don’t recommend it.
The owners were incredibly kind and attentive to anything we needed. El Portón is a fantastic, comfortable house, decorated simply and with good taste. The attic and the garden behind the house stood out, especially as lovely places to enjoy with family. It’s under 20 minutes from Santander and the airport, making it a handy base for exploring Cantabria. Usgo beach is a must for its natural beauty, only a three-minute drive or ten-minute walk away. We’ll definitely return someday.
The surroundings were so peaceful, with beautiful scenery that made it easy to switch off and enjoy nature. The house had all the amenities we needed, and the facilities were impeccable. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, decorated with taste while keeping the rural feel. Everything was clean and well looked after. The owner made us feel at home right away with a warm welcome and attention to every detail. We’d love to come back. Highly recommended!
