The rooms were filthy and freezing cold.

Our cycling group enjoyed the house. There’s a fair bit of stair climbing, but it has what you need. Upstairs are four bedrooms, each for two people, plus two shared bathrooms and a separate toilet.

Getting around the house means using several staircases, since the kitchen and living room are downstairs, the entrance and a bathroom are in the middle, four bedrooms and two bathrooms are above, and there’s another bedroom at the top. The location worked well for us, with the highway about 10 minutes away and easy access to other places. The bedrooms have old, noisy mattresses, and there isn’t much natural light. The outdoor area is small and shared with the owners, who live 5 meters away. The bathrooms are set up more like changing rooms, which caught us off guard: one has two screened showers and one enclosed toilet inside the bathroom, while the other has two separate enclosed toilets. It could work for families without children, but I’d be less inclined to recommend it for families with kids. There’s no green space for them to run around, though there is a path by the river nearby.

The apartment was comfortable and charming, with everything needed for a pleasant stay, though it isn’t anything fancy. Ana and Adolfo were kind and attentive. It was a pleasure meeting them.
