The balcony looked out over the church, and parking was easy. Breakfast was delicious, and the room was clean and comfortable, with a good bed and a large shower. It also had air conditioning, a TV, and a refrigerator.

We stayed two nights, not far from the Bardenas Reales desert. Getting in was easy with the key box and the WhatsApp instructions, and leaving was just as simple. The room was basic but quite adequate, with a fridge and air conditioning. We could hear the neighbors talking late at night, so the soundproofing is the one drawback. Everything else was perfect, especially for our first trip to Spain when we don't speak Spanish. Good value and recommended for a short visit.

We chose the place for four nights because Milagro is a good base for visiting Bardenas Reales. Room 6 was a reasonable size and clean, as was the bathroom, and the air conditioning was new. There isn't a reception desk, but Andrea can be reached by phone or WhatsApp. The owner was kind enough to give us a breakfast voucher, since I'd thought breakfast was included when apparently it wasn't. Thank you. Breakfast vouchers can be used at either Kikoss cafeteria, which was awful, or Burgos, where the skewers were very good and the staff friendly and helpful. The room had a small fridge, but it had to be unplugged at night if you wanted to sleep. The window blind did a great job blocking light. There was a hair dryer, and dispensers with shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap, which is a good sustainable touch. Towels were very thin and stayed wet instead of drying, though they were changed every day. There was also a small shared room with a microwave and fridge for anyone bringing food to eat there. The sleeping arrangements were awkward for us. The 1.35 m bed was uncomfortable for two adults, and the IKEA bunk bed had one mattress that was child-sized and too short, which made no sense to me. My husband and nine-year-old son shared the main bed while I used the bunk with a normal mattress. There were four pillows, all different and all uncomfortable. The wardrobe was also too limited for a room meant for four people, with only one drawer and some hangers. The shower head was positioned in the middle, which was very awkward. Even a tiny adjustment to the water control sent it from boiling hot to freezing cold, or the other way around, so a comfortable shower was impossible. People with reduced mobility may not be accommodated because there are stairs, and our room had a bathtub. Bring earplugs. There's no soundproofing, and you can wake up when someone shuts a door or uses the bathroom in another room. They say there's Wi-Fi, but the only network has no internet, so what's the point?

The location was fantastic, and the hotel was spotless and affordable, with breakfast included. There's a bakery-café right at the hotel where we ate, and everything was delicious. The young man running it was lovely and very friendly. I highly recommend it.

A pleasant stopover. It was a little noisy, but the facilities were clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and breakfast was delicious.
