Casa Rural Parque Natural de Cornalvo

We were treated wonderfully by the owner and his hardworking, helpful staff. The house was spotless and well looked after, with comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, and a small TV in each bedroom. There’s plenty of space for a group, including a big kitchen, a living room with a TV and a sofa that fits several people, and large tables indoors and out. The pool and pretty garden have lots of tucked-away corners. There are fridges inside and outside for drinks, plus a BBQ. Since it’s in a small town, you can walk around easily, and Mérida is close by highway.

Pedro was exceptionally hospitable and made us feel very comfortable. We stayed in the small house, with five beds, one of them double, and there are two bathrooms with showers. It’s full of thoughtful details, as the photos show, and has a pool. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a washing machine. We got caught in a cold snap, so couldn’t make the most of the garden, though it must be lovely in good weather. The rooms have split units that work like air conditioning in summer, but the house isn’t really set up for winter. Highly recommended, just maybe not during a cold snap ;)

I went with my theater group, and the house was a great place for activities and spending time together. The 12-person house is really spacious, and the pool is a treat. It’s also very close to Mérida. Everything was clean, tidy, and well maintained. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, air conditioning, and terrace. The owners are lovely, attentive to every detail, and took great care of us. I highly recommend it.

Pedro, the owner, is delightful and thinks of all the little details to make sure things are just right. We’ve now spent a wonderful weekend at this house for the fourth year running. It’s very comfortable, and having a fully adapted bedroom and bathroom matters a lot to those of us with a disabled person at home. Thanks for everything, again this year.
