Halley

Lara and her brother Fabio are doing a great job running this place. We thought it was excellent value and hope to be back before too long. The apartment had everything we needed, including great internet, and was in a quiet part of Puerto Rico that suited us. There are good walks in the nearby hills. We stayed seven nights. The booking communication was good, the bedding was changed halfway through, and the towels were replaced twice during the week. The room was a decent size, with bedroom air conditioning. Our ground-floor patio had a table, chairs and recliners. Reception sells a few essentials, including heavy bottles of water, which was a godsend. There are lots of sunbeds around the great pool. A decent supermarket and a plaza with some great restaurants were about seven minutes downhill on foot. The marina, beach and more restaurants were another five or six minutes away. The walk back up is gradual, especially along the little path beside the road.

The terrace had amazing views, and I really liked the pool area. It was clean, which mattered most to me. The place has a lot of potential, though the living room needs some renovation. We couldn’t connect to WiFi because the signal in our apartment was extremely weak. For what we paid, I was satisfied.

Lara and Fabio are great. They arranged all our island excursions and gave us excellent tips. The cleaning was perfect, and over our 10 days the towels were changed three times a week. I really enjoyed this very nice apartment complex with my daughter. Good value for money.

The beds weren’t very comfortable for me, which was the one downside. Otherwise I was very satisfied. The place has a calm atmosphere and a great view, and we felt well looked after by the service. It’s a five-minute walk to the supermarket and some restaurants, and about ten minutes to the beach and other activities.
