I stayed for a week. You have to rent a TV remote and pay €20 for WiFi for the week, and pay extra for a kettle and toaster. That alone should put you off. The sockets came away from the wall whenever I unplugged something. There is a pool, but even in 26° heat I didn’t see anyone using it. That says a lot. If I could take away the one star, I would.

That balcony view was incredible, especially after dark when everything was lit up. We stayed for a week with our teenage daughter and the apartment was clean, with a nice pool area too. I really don't get the awful reviews. Having to rent a kettle or toaster was the one drawback, so we boiled water for morning coffee in a pan. Would I come back? Yes!

The bedroom was at the back, so the loud music from the strip didn't keep me awake once the doors were shut, though nights were noisy. The place was extremely basic: just two hobs and a fridge despite being advertised as self-catering, and anything else had to be rented. Reception was hardly ever open. It was okay for a week, but I wouldn't return.

We had a lovely two-week stay, though our bedding wasn't changed once in all 14 days, which was bad. Towels were replaced every other day. The apartment was very basic and you have to hire things like a kettle and toaster. There are lots of steps, as expected. I ended up with a sore neck from the single pillow, so ask for another one. Would I stay again?
