Hotel el Palacio

The front desk staff were kind and professional both in the evening and the morning, and there’s secure bike storage at the front entrance. The rooms are spacious, affordable, carefully maintained, and spotlessly clean. I had the same good impression of the restaurant at breakfast and dinner. This hotel is a gem. I’d gladly stay again and recommend it without hesitation.

The location by the bridge was excellent, but the food wasn’t worth recommending. It was expensive and cold, and service was slow. I was the only person at the bar and waited about 10 minutes just to pay while the guy behind the bar ignored me. I didn’t stay, so I can’t speak to the rooms.

The city is beautiful and historic, and there are good restaurants nearby. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the large bathroom was nice. The A/C was VERY welcome on a warm August day. It was a busy time of year, and there was no parking when we arrived, though later in the evening we found a spot closer to the hotel. I’d definitely recommend it, but next time I’d avoid the high tourist season. Beautiful, but busy!

The desk agent stayed late to check us in, which was great. Our room was clean, and the hotel itself is beautiful and centrally located right beside the Roman bridge and river. Great hotel and restaurant in Molinaseca.
