The staff made us feel like family. Everyone was warm, attentive, and sincerely keen to make our stay memorable. They anticipated what we needed and offered thoughtful suggestions, which really shaped the experience. We ate well at every meal. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of local flavor. The chefs clearly take pride in regional ingredients and traditional methods, while adding their own creative touch. The peaceful countryside setting, with rolling hills, olive trees, and Andalusian scenery, made it easy to slow down and relax. We liked walking through the gardens, sitting by the pool, and taking in the quiet. The grounds are carefully kept, with rustic charm alongside modern comfort. La Dehesa de Don Pedro feels elegant but welcoming, and refined without losing its personal touch. We left refreshed and are already looking forward to coming back. A great choice for peace, lovely surroundings, and genuine hospitality in the heart of Spain.

The communal spaces are beautifully designed, the place is peaceful, breakfast is good, and the pool is refreshing. But our room was not clean or well kept. We kept finding hair that wasn't ours, including in the bed, along with dust and a generally scruffy feel, especially in the very cramped bathroom. With a young baby who puts things in her mouth, that was unpleasant and made us uneasy. Staff arranged a deep clean after we raised it. It helped a little, but we still found hair, and we felt the apology and efforts to make things right fell short. There are only two places to eat, the restaurant and pool bar, which has a smaller version of the restaurant menu. Choice is limited, and most dishes are red meat. The hotel is remote, so the restaurant matters, though there are some options in places like Pallares if you have a car. We had to chase the hotel several times about activities we'd booked, and weren't always given the full details ahead of time. For example, the massage takes place in the middle of the gym, which isn't very relaxing, and the masseuse only speaks Spanish. That's fine, but it would have been useful to know beforehand so we could be ready for the experience. For a 5 star hotel, we'd expected the facilities to be freely available to guests, but the jacuzzi and sauna cost extra. The pool furniture also felt a bit budget, and some of it was dirty, which didn't feel very luxurious. There are some family-friendly touches, like cots and a ramp down to the pool, but there are no baby changing facilities. Dinner service doesn't start until 9pm, which wasn't disclosed in advance and meant we were actually eating around 9:45pm. That's impractical for many young families. There's no room service either. During our five-night stay, they let us go to the restaurant at 8:15pm once, as a one-time exception.

My daughter hired the entire hotel for her wedding, and it was a fantastic venue for the event. The staff were friendly and professional, making the experience even better, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

The views are beautiful, and it's quiet, peaceful, and really relaxing. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the food was delicious, and everyone was very sweet.
