The breakfasts were generous and organic, and Marcy was very attentive. We arrived without trouble using the directions sent by email. They also lent us a portable charger, which was enough to charge our phones for two nights. It’s a lovely place to disconnect in nature. The owners run the farmhouse as sustainably as they can, so there aren’t many “luxuries,” but we didn’t need them and appreciated the approach.

Back in 2017, we stayed here with our 4-year-old and had an amazing time. Marcy asked whether we wanted dinner, and we said yes without even checking the menu. She served spinach soup and an incredible vegetable quiche. I finished the whole thing, and she told me, “Only you and two cyclists who came by have eaten it all.” I have to return soon.

I rested better than I had in ages. Marcy, the owner, notices every detail and adds thoughtful touches while still giving you complete freedom. Her cooking is wonderful, and you can tell how much care she puts into each dish, with attention to nutrition, ecology, and sustainability. A perfect place to relax and disconnect. One hundred percent recommended.

The service was terrible, and the whole experience was disappointing. Finding the place was difficult because there’s no sign, so we had to call for directions. The access road is a bumpy dirt track. I spotted a flea in the bathroom sink, and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. When my partner and I chose to go out for dinner, Marci seemed annoyed and kept insisting we stay there. I think they forget guests aren’t their children, and that we’re paying for our stay. One more important thing: you can’t use a hairdryer or charge your phone, and they tell you by email. If it were up to me, it wouldn’t even get one star. I won’t return.
