10/10
It's a lovely, quaint hotel with spacious rooms, good service and fair prices. The country-style decor fits the place, and the local food is good too. It's on the edge of town, though the center is only a 5-minute walk away. Montefrío is a historic city with a Moorish castle and a round church that's unique in Spain. Its cheeses have won lots of awards.

I only know the restaurant, but the grilled tuna and fried calamari were outstanding. The service was friendly and efficient. Love this place.

The rooms are big, the beds are nice, and the bathroom is huge, though it only has a small bathtub. Breakfast could be a little better.
