The owners were friendly, even though we don't speak Spanish, and the locals were welcoming too. We stopped at Montemolin on our way south. It's a tiny town in the middle of nowhere, though there are a few bars and restaurants and a supermarket. The house was peaceful and nice, and the honesty bar was especially handy since we arrived around 3 pm, when most places were closed.

The pool was easy to get into, so my mother-in-law, who has limited mobility, could enjoy it alongside the younger kids. We spent five days here as a family and felt at home from the start. The common rooms were roomy and cool, with books, board games, a TV and ping pong for summer afternoons. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty of variety, with cold drinks always available. The staff were warm and attentive, and the whole house was spotless. We had everything we needed to keep my mother-in-law comfortable. A place we'd happily return to as a family.

We came to Montemolin for the Virgen de la Granada festival and stayed at this lovely country house. Sitting in the cool shade of the orange trees on the terrace with a drink was a treat, and the pool was really nice too. The house has welcoming, beautiful decor. My room was adorable, with an en-suite bathroom and a great mattress. Breakfast had everything I needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved getting to know the town and its kind, friendly people. Can't think of a bad word to say, and I'd highly recommend it. I'll be back in a heartbeat.

We booked a stay this weekend while we were in town for a motorcycle course. The house is really beautiful and cozy, with lots of details that keep its period style. Our room was very spacious and looked out over the patio.
