We found the reception very helpful, and requests were handled quickly. Our cleaner was polite and friendly, and the apartment was cleaned almost every day. It had the basics covered, including dishwashing supplies, bin bags, toilet paper, shower gel and towels. There was enough room for two adults and two children, and the very large main bed was a real bonus. The beach, supermarket and town centre, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, were only a few minutes away on foot. We’d happily recommend it.

We first came here years ago, and my long TripAdvisor review from 2015 still holds up. They’ve freshened the decor a little and lightened some of the dark furniture, which I noticed. It remains a good, quiet base for exploring an area that still hasn’t become over-commercialised, and we didn’t see any major building work. Shops are close, there’s enough nearby to keep you occupied, and the beach, sea and restaurants make this a lovely spot. Staff were helpful and the maids did a very good job. It suits active, reasonably healthy people who want peace, a quiet pool, self-catering, walks, winter sun and the beach nearby. Couples are especially well suited, as are older children who can look after themselves. Nice restaurants are about a 10 minute stroll away. There aren’t bars or other amenities on site, and it’s not the place for nightlife, late parties, pool service or five-star treatment at a two-star price. The apartments are basic but workable. There are lots of steps, so it’s not suitable for anyone who finds stairs difficult or is physically impaired. Small children who move around on their own could be at risk too, as the stairs have no guards. A warning about wet weather: rain can make the ceramic tiles and many surrounding pavements extremely slippery. I felt unsafe walking on them, almost like walking on marbles. It dried up quickly, but the surfaces stayed slippery for a few days. When it rains, take extra care, use handrails, and consider other routes around the complex. Wear shoes with good grip, and bring sandals for the hot weather once things dry out. Be careful by the pools too, and watch for wet floors wherever you travel. There are stairs and slopes in this complex, as in many places. Take care and you can have a great holiday.

I’ve stayed here several times. The apartments are a bit dated, but they’re spacious, spread over three levels and have everything you need. It’s probably the most laid-back place on the island, with easy walks into town and down to the beach.
