We paid over 300 Canadian dollars for a suite, so it was frustrating to find the bathroom dirty when we checked in around 5:30 pm. Someone had shaved over the sink and it hadn't been cleaned. The front desk apologized, and we assumed they'd send someone up. When I called at 7, they said the cleaning staff had already left. It was off season and the hotel seemed quiet, with plenty of rooms available, but they didn't offer us another one. The next morning, the customer service manager asked if we'd like the room cleaned, but we were checking out within two hours and had only stayed one night. He apologized and offered to cover parking, but the front desk had told us there was no parking when we arrived. We parked quite far away because Google Maps showed driving restrictions in the main town. He also offered coffee, but we'd already paid for and eaten breakfast at the hotel. In the end, nothing really resolved the problem, and we spent the night in a dirty room.

Everyone we dealt with made our two days at the hotel wonderful, from reception and the restaurant to events and housekeeping. We were there for a work conference and had a fantastic experience. Thank you to the whole team.

8/10
The location was great, but reception didn't give us much help. We booked the restaurant for 8 and weren't told when it opened, what they offered, or the best way to get there, so we had to look around ourselves. There were no details in the room about the menu either. For a 4-star hotel, the information about the hotel and area felt more like 2-star service.

The breakfast was amazing, and the rooms were clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the service was great. Excellent location. Highly recommend.

We were in a perfect spot for our Santana concert at the bullring, right beside the spectacular Cathedral and the fantastic Mercado de Correos. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the hotel was excellent. I only held back from a full five stars because there was no USB socket or kettle for making coffee or tea in the morning. Apart from that, excellent, and I'd highly recommend it.
