The location is about a 20 minute drive from central Alicante, so without a rental car, taxis for basic trips will add up. We didn't eat at the hotel, since meals weren't included in our package. I have no complaints about the staff or anything in general, but the hotel doesn't feel like a 4 star property. It is very dated and needs modernization inside and out. The rooms are basic but presentable, with very cheap furniture and poor beds and mattresses. The beds squeak a lot, and the doors and walls don't block sound well. The curtains let in a lot of light, especially early in the morning. Everything works, but the experience feels more like what you'd expect from a 2 or 3 star hotel. I'm saying this to help others set their expectations.

The pool area was amazing, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was very good too, with plenty of choices and fresh ingredients each day. Hotel Bonalba Alicante was beautiful, clean, and relaxing, with a calm atmosphere and attention to detail throughout. From arrival, the staff were welcoming and professional, always ready to help with a smile. We had a super nice stay and I'd happily return. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Alicante area.

The team made a real difference to both my stay and the premiere of Euphoria Cabaret. Everyone was helpful, professional, and genuinely friendly, and their support helped everything go smoothly. Carla, the PR Manager, deserves a special mention: she was warm, organised, and dedicated, with hands-on support and a positive attitude throughout. I stayed two nights at Hotel Bonalba Alicante while producing the brand-new show, which premiered last Saturday at the hotel. The place is in an amazing location, comfortable, and very well equipped for guests and events. It was an excellent experience from start to finish, and I'd gladly return.

We went during the off peak period, and the pool was closed during the week. You could still swim if you were responsible, since there was no lifeguard. It's a very nice hotel and good value for what you get. Breakfast was very nice too. An Uber to the city is £20, and it's around £25 to the airport.

The hotel was nice and the rooms were clean for our golf weekend. Breakfast was average: the cooked eggs and sausages weren't very warm, and there was a limited choice of fruit and/or fresh juice. Pool towels cost extra to rent. We also had some trouble getting taxis to pick us up for the trip into town.
