Right in the middle of the village, near the sea and a supermarket, Muxia Mate Hostel is in a perfect spot. I've stayed twice, once after the Camino Frances and again this year after the Camino Portuguese. It's a welcoming, homey place with a great host. Highly recommended for pilgrims.

My single room was €35 a night and had a fantastic sea view, plus a lovely sunset. It was spacious and cozy, with a heater that worked. The bathroom was nice and had a hair dryer. The shared living room, shared with just one other person, had a well-equipped kitchen and a washing machine.

The view is lovely, and the people here are kind and helpful. The kitchen is a bit small, but it's clean. Groceries and the beach are nearby, and the Light House isn't far away. Good value for the price.

Comfy beds, friendly people, and well-kept showers and kitchen facilities. You can walk to everything from here. I arrived late after walking the Santiago Way, and they called to make sure I was okay and give me directions. Excellent, A+.
