We found Barco da Vella while exploring around Muxia and stopped in for lunch. The outdoor tables were all reserved, so we ate inside instead. The service was really friendly, and the freshly cooked scallops, squid, and salad were excellent. It’s also tucked behind Praia do Lago. We’d happily recommend it and hope to return.

I can’t speak to the food, but the building is beautiful, well maintained, and has incredible views. Everyone on staff was kind and friendly.

We stopped for tapas, and they were the best in Muxía! The staff were young and friendly, and the terrace has a lovely view of the beach. There’s even a vintage foosball table.
