O Cabanel de Pepe

The apartments are modern, clean, and tidy, and the acoustics are good, with no irritating noise from compressors or extractors. We visited in August while the nearby sawmill was closed for its holiday, and there are good views to the west. Just be aware that only photos 1, 2, and 9 show the apartment interior; the rest are of nearby places you can't see from the house. The layout makes daily use awkward. The terrace doors swing open instead of sliding, and their big panels get in the way and stop the retractable sunshades from lowering. The kitchen panels are worse: opening the fridge means opening two overlapping doors each time, and using the microwave requires swinging open a panel that sweeps across the whole counter. You have to clear the kitchen just to heat something. The lighting is baffling too, making it impossible to read lying down or stretched out. Unless the woodwork and sunshades are redesigned, awnings added, the kitchen panels removed, and better light fixtures installed, I find it hard to imagine people coming back.

The house is new, thoughtfully designed, and has all the comforts of home. We spent ten days at Pepe's cabin with our two young children, who loved playing nonstop in the spacious garden. We all had a wonderful time. The owner was warm and approachable, and Pepe and his wife were especially welcoming from the start. We'll always remember the sunsets, barbecues, and Flecha. It's a quiet place to stay, with a new house that has all the essentials. There's parking on the property and plenty of points of interest nearby. The owners are very friendly and attentive.

The setting is ideal, and the house is lovely, modern, well cared for, and very clean. It's equipped for a comfortable stay, and we'll definitely return.
