Toboso Apar-Turis

We went in January and made use of the indoor pool. It’s small, but big enough for a swim, and an hour was around 6 euros. There’s an indoor gym too. Breakfast had loads to choose from, including a full English, continental options, fruit, yoghurt and pastries. The beds were really comfortable and the pillows amazing. Our studio had a sea view, a little kitchen, a bathroom and two single beds pushed together as a double. It was quiet and private, and they provided milk when we arrived. The TV had British channels. It’s a 3 star hotel, spotlessly clean, with extremely helpful staff, right on the balcony de europa. I can’t recommend it enough.

Christmas in Nerja was stunning, and Apar Turis put us right in the middle of it. The Plays de Salon beach is 3 minutes away, the Balcon de Europa is 2 minutes away, and there are lovely restaurants, coffee stops and shops all around. From our room’s Juliette balcony, we could look over the Balcon Plaza and watch people go by. The kitchenette had a kettle, toaster, microwave, two hobs and all the kitchenware we needed to make a meal. We also had a beautiful breakfast on the Cochran terrace, looking out to sea. Gorgeous place, 5* for everything!🥰

We were initially booked at Hotel Toboso Chaparil a year ahead, but were contacted later because it was being renovated. We agreed to move to Toboso Apar Turis, and that turned out well since it’s much closer to the water and balcony of Europa in Nerja. Our stay was from 19. to 23.11.2025. The rooms were well equipped, and ours looked straight onto the square of the balcony of Europe and the church there. Breakfast was served on a terrace with a sea view. A few minor inconsistencies came up, but they were resolved completely to our satisfaction.

The beaches are no more than a minute away, and the location worked well for everything we needed. The pool area was cleaned every morning, with plenty of loungers for sun or shade at any time of day. I stayed for 10 nights, and everything was 1st class. All the staff were excellent, from reception and housekeeping to breakfast, the restaurant and the tapas bar by the church and square. I’ll be back next year without hesitation.
