Celeste made us feel at home, like we were part of the family. She looked after our dietary needs, and breakfast was delicious, with eggs from her chickens and jams she’d made by hand with her mother. The hotel is beautiful, with nicely decorated rooms and a great outdoor area. Its location is perfect for hikes and has lots of history. We left feeling content and refreshed. This was the best hotel we’d stayed at in ages, and we really wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll come back next time we’re near Níjar. Thanks again, Celeste.

A real rural stay, with amazing views in a lovely quiet spot. The host and location were both excellent. Breakfast and dinner can be freshly prepared if you ask. I’d definitely recommend it for a peaceful break away from the city.

Cortijo La Alberca is gorgeous and conveniently close to all the lovely places nearby. Celeste is a wonderful host and a brilliant cook. We hope the wedding went well and wish you every happiness! Besos Rick & Petra PS: A portable electric heater would be nice for warming the room on cold days :)

We only had one night at this beautiful casa rural and wished we could have stayed longer. It’s tucked well off the beaten path, and the hosts welcomed us like family. The dinner and breakfast were both great, and the rooms feel as if they’ve been lifted from history. We were enchanted and highly recommend it.

We spent a long weekend here with my partner and had a great time. It’s a peaceful, quiet place to stay while seeing the area, and Celeste, the owner, was lovely. She gave us tips on places to visit and eat. It felt so different from where we live on the Costa del Sol.
