Hotel Restaurante Elisardo

For our anniversary we had a great mariscada para dos. The seafood was fresh and local, and it's a family run business.

We both loved the food here two years ago, and came to the same conclusion about why: in Spain, restaurants with bright white lighting always seem to turn out best! The fish and seafood were Spanish cooking at its best. This year my uncle and mother stayed at the hotel. They're the kind of people who don't praise things, and if they really like something, they just don't complain. They didn't complain. Two years on, the cooking is still superb: fresh, top quality, traditional, honest and authentic, with no frills. We just love it. Ramón runs the hotel, serves tables, and probably buys the ingredients too. We learned today that he's an Ironman as well. His mum and another cook work together in the kitchen to prepare some of the freshest, tastiest meals around.

We shared the parrillada seafood as a couple. It was excellent, and the price included wine, coffee and bread.

The seafood was amazingly fresh, and the food was the best. Anyone visiting Noia should try dinner at restaurante Elisardo.
