Duerming Casa Vilamor

Maria made us feel at home, and after such a lovely night in this cosy family place, we enjoyed the evening with the other guests after dinner and slept so well. We liked it enough to come back for our last night on the way back from Santiago de Compostella. Breakfast was great, too. Thanks again, Maria. We hope to return soon!

The people made our stay at Duerming Casa Vilamor: María, the owner, is lovely, her daughter María makes incredible homemade sweets, and Rocío was attentive throughout. They made us feel at home right away, and were so welcoming to our dog, which we really appreciated. The setting in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra is stunning and wonderfully peaceful, just right for a few days of disconnecting in Galicia. Leaving was the hardest part. It’s the kind of place you could imagine living in, and we’ll definitely be back.

We had dinner and breakfast for three nights in a row, and the value was excellent. Breakfasts were generous, and dinner always came with a first and second course, good wine, coffee, dessert, and liqueur. The mother-and-daughter hosts, both named Maria, and the cook, Rocío, were attentive and kind. They also helped us plan a wonderful weekend of hikes, cultural visits, and leisure activities. It was our first stay, over the Constitution Day weekend, and we loved everything from the comfort and cleanliness to the service. The house is beautiful and well maintained. We’ll definitely return, and we’re grateful for all their help and guidance.

The property is beautiful, with an interior patio and a shared lounge upstairs. Our room was tidy and spotless, with no dust or cobwebs, and we saw just one tiny spider during our two days in the middle of nature. The place was welcoming, pleasant, and peaceful. We stayed one night, and the two of us had a wonderful time. They were kind from the outset and gave us tips on places to visit and eat. I’d definitely come back.
